Greetings in that mighty awesome name of Jesus!
Sorry to our visitors on this blessed page of the Full Gospel Church for not having updated regularly. We promise we will update it more often.
May God bless you as you read this praise report of our camp meeting which was on July 2 to 6th.(Acts 3:19)
We started out our camp meeting this summer with Dr Hank and Kathy Kanters who pastor and founded the Cambridge Christian Centre in Cambridge, Ontario. Their call and ministry is to teach the word of God in such a way that all who hear will understand who we are in Christ and why we are made in God’s image. I believe because of this teaching the Holy Spirit had set in our hearts for a glorious break thru on the weekend part of our camp meeting.
Friday night service was awesome as the people of God began to praise the living God, His presence began to manifest because His word promises He dwells in the praises of His people. Indeed He granted us times of refreshing.
Saturday Pastor/prophet Klaus and Nicole Saari arrived in Eabametoong. They pastor in Abundant Life Healing Centre in
Sudbury, Ontario. All the services were very awesome and blessed of God’s presence, bringing joy, laughter, shouting, deliverance, dancing, weeping, crying, and His holy presence also brought a deep conviction of many that were inside and outside of the tent.
We saw many break thrus, children laying on the ground weeping, and crying in God’s loving presence thru out the camp meeting. We saw at least 20 souls come to Christ.
Praise God!
Now we as the church and body of Christ have a huge responsibility to walk and disciple these new believers, to encourage and strengthen these precious souls that Jesus came to die for.
The answer is in Matthew 22: 32-40
If you begin to love the Lord with your whole being and see your neighbors as Jesus sees them, you will have the love of God towards them.
Our music team consisted of two band members from the Box of Crayons, Chris Stevens of Eabametoong and Mervin Waboose who resides in Thunder Bay but is originally from Eabametoong. Ernie Okeese was also part time and soundman as well with Derek Yellowhead that did an awesome job as a full time sound person.
On Friday, we had an addition to our praise and worship team, as Ivan and Vanessa Sawan arrived from Red Earth, Alberta.
A very special thank you to my cousin Merv Waboose for the full commitment to serve the Lord with his gift of music and sharing his personal testimony to encourage us. Mervin was with us from the beginning to the end of the camp meeting, always on time and was dedicated. We enjoyed Merv’s music and hope to have him again soon in Fort Hope. (Box of Crayon cds are available for purchase. Contact Merv or Chris)
Thank you to all the people who volunteered their time towards this work and to Andy and Christine Yesno for their donation of the stage.
May God bless you richly.
God bless you,
Pastor Jimmy Waboose
